Responsibilities

To be the dedicated Producer for all of the client's needs

Ensuring the day to day production workflow is adhered to, defined, communicated and production standards are enforced

Track and identify new opportunities to improve our methodology and training offerings from a production perspective

Work alongside the agency account team, TV department and the Head of Broadcast to ensure that the assigned projects are produced to a high creative standard, delivered on time and within the agreed budget

Attend briefings with the client/ agency to find out proposed scope of work, submit budgets and creative treatments, agree on a quote, assign third-party suppliers where required, book suite time, conduct kick-off meetings, schedule client reviews, distributed feedback, track costs and manage project progress

Ensuring that the majority of the client’s work is achieved through the facility as per the contact with the client

Build relationships with third-party production companies

Check and approve estimates and reconciliations from team

Attend and take notes during all briefings/ reviews and circulate information to Producers and Account Management where necessary

Be responsible for checking that all material needed to undertake a job has been requested and is on the system in the correct place

Play an active role in defining problems, recommending solutions and establishing resourceful conclusions

Negotiate rates and liaise with outsourcing companies

Check that all work is reconciled correctly and comes in within the agreed budget

Check and sign off invoices before going to client/agency and sending regular updates of costs incurred so far

Encourage and explore new avenues of potential work both internally and externally

Continually define ways to increase client satisfaction and deepen client relationships

Coach and develop skills of direct reports to ensure success through Personal Development Planning

Have an understanding of the technologies used to make sure the client is using these technologies correctly

Manage and nurture relationships between Producers, Operators and Account Teams

Attend post-production and tech briefings and present findings to the broadcast Producers as well as being the point person between the two areas of the business


Qualifications

5 years experience in a production and post-production environment

Have a sound working knowledge of primary production and post-production

Experience dealing with agencies and agency Producers

Results Driven

Strong people management skills

The ability to support and solicit input from team members at all levels

The ability to develop long lasting client relationships internally & externally

Excellent interpersonal skills
