The company and position is based in Abuja, Nigeria. Their primary operation is day old chick production. They have 20,000 breeder birds (Arbor Acres) in an open house, deep litter production environment - soon moving to a caged, closed house production environment - which produce eggs for their hatchery. They also have a fish hatchery and 2 small oil mills on their site. They are looking to extend their operations into broiler production - directly or through outgrowing - to increase the profitability of operations.

The company looking for someone who will come with "the solution" to efficient day old chick production on the farm. They need a veteran who is confident that he has the solution and that he can deliver the desired results. Someone that has a proven way of running a breeder farm, but is not too set in his ways to shut off new, innovative ideas. Someone who is confident beyond any doubt that he will get the job done.

The goal for this person is the establishment of systems and standards that can guarantee consistent and desirable results; with or without them. Broadly speaking the work will cover the following areas

7. Feedmill
8. Hatchery

11 Customer management systems development - segmentation, profiling, etc
12. Admin
13. Admin systems audit
14 Facilities

The contract will include accommodation, transportation and health cover.
The company is looking at 2 phases
1. Phase 1: 12 - 18 month contract.
2. Phase 2: Full time employment after the consultancy based on performance
