R680 – 700 000 p.a. plus medical aid and pension fund

Reporting to the Export Product and Marketing Manager this role will include providing technical Veterinarian support to Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, and Tanzania (with more countries potentially added in the future). The successful candidate will require the ability to manage their own time, have a "hands on" and initiative approach, work with deadlines and produce a high standard of quality in their work; possess strong technical, marketing and organizational skills and the ability to work as part of a dynamic team.

REQUIREMENTS
1. A BVSc degree
2. Registration with the SAVC as a Veterinarian;
3. Three years’ veterinary experience as a field/farm veterinarian in the area of flock health VERY NB!!


RESPONSIBILITIES
? Travel once in 2 months for a period of 1-2 weeks
? Accountable for planning, implementing and monitoring TS plan
? Support sales growth plan in Africa
? Prepare technical support plan for Africa according to country and product
? Provide training for teams
? Conduct field visits to customer farms; provide wide support in poultry management and husbandry, biosecurity, vaccination plans, vaccine application, etc.
? Assist sales team in cultivating new customers and expanding sales in existing countries
? Provide telephone/WhatsApp/email support to country vets
? Prepare brochures and other marketing material to suit African farming and knowledge
? Prepare technical and marketing presentations on Company products

• Provide technical and selling tools to country, TS, and sales team
