Pre-sales specialist

Provide support to the sales director by providing technical assistance to sales engagement, through investigation, consultation and a thorough understanding of our clients requirements
Play key role developing new business and take full responsibility for the technical response of proposal preparation
Identify sales opportunities
Create proposal addressing Business Requirement Statement, defining an integration and/or business automation technology solution
Schedule and facilitate solution development or proof of concept workshops
Be aware of Tender/ SLA / OLA requirements
Develop, provide and report information for management decision making
Awareness of emerging and current technology
The ability to identify cultural, organisational and business constraints affecting solution offerings
Keeps abreast of knowledge / developments of the marketplace in terms of current and emerging products and their pragmatic application to address business requirements
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Exposure to all infrastructure and application domain areas
Good proven analytical and conceptual capabilities
All round technology expertise
Articulating the value proposition of our clients skills, experience and solutions
Describing the technical architecture of our solutions
Highlighting the advantages of our offering over other providers and solutions
Pre-sales solutions / technical consulting / Business Analyst experience in a similar, leading edge technology driven market
Good knowledge of Database Management systems - SQL, Oracle etc
A creative mind with an innovative, strategic way of thinking
Passionate, articulate and driven to provide exceptional customer value

Must have strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively interpret and communicate (both oral and written) results to a wide audience, as well as explain difficult and complex concepts to a non-technical audience
• Must have experience and proficiency for:
i. ETL Systems
ii. Database Systems (MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL)
iii. Web Services
iv. Source Control SVN (preferred)
v. Analytics software knowledge

• Level of education and experience
i. B.Com or B.Sc with IT related majors with excellent academic results
ii. 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role

• Salary is highly negotiable based on experience
