Requirements:
- Matric
- Experienced in printing
- Experience in working with Vutek, Mimaki and Jeti machines
- Industry related experience in Vehicle Branding or Tarpaulins
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic use of MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook
Duties:
- Ensure that materials are booked in and out of the stock room and that all jobs are printed in the most cost effective way
- Utilising the printers to their optimum and limiting the wastage as far as possible by checking prints with test prints as they are being printed to ensure that all elements are present and that colours and sizes are the same
- Ensure the correct size of vinyls are used
- Ensure that workflow is managed in most effective way
- Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions as specified
- Ensure that machines are clean as per guide regulations and that the print room is tidy and clean
- Make sure extraction is always on while printers are functioning
- Set up and adjust machines and equipment as required with different types materials
- Ensure that all jobs are on schedule as planned
- Complete all required spread sheets and ensure that administration if kept up-to-date
- Daily ordering of materials for print as required to ensure that nothing runs out
- Making sure all jobs have drawings and check sheets and that all check sheets are accurately filled in
- Complete ink book out sheets for each ink pouch
- Ensure that maintenance file is filled in daily after doing daily maintenance
