Job Description

Optimising the plant to make sure that design targets are met
Ensure plant operations are effectively operating within the design specifications
Understanding and implementing project concepts as well as initiation and execution thereof
Developing the scope of projects
Proposals and motivation
Process modelling
Initiating root cause analysis and conducting technical investigations
Waste eliminating, continuous improvement and LSS
Investigating new technologies
Optimising of current systems, procedures and plant
Off-spec eliminating using engineering systems
Supporting products and marketing development
Developing new products
Assisting customer complaints through technical input and customer RCA’s

Minimum Requirements

BSc / B-Tech in Chemical Engineering
5 - 7 minimum years experience in a Process industry, preferably in Metallurgy / Mining
Knowledge and understanding of mineral resources regulations preferred
Computer literate (MS office)
Must have a valid driver’s license
