Long term contract 3 years in Saudi Arabia - Jubail Industrial

Candidate Requirements
B Tech or BSc in Chemical Engineering
Minimum of 15 years project planning and associated experience in a Petro-Chemical Industry (Sasol / Natref / Mossgas / Chevron Oil Company / Petro SA / Engen etc)
Previous Gulf experience would be beneficial

Duties:
Review EPC contractor development of Process Flow Diagrams, P&ID’s, Plot Plans, Hazardous Area Classification, Utility Summaries, process controls documents and HAZOP process.•
Participate in HAZOPS and P&ID reviews with EPC contractor and end users.•
Review all engineering deliverables prepared by EPC contractor in respect to process and controls.• Review all engineering deliverables prepared by EPC contractor in respect to process and controls.• Respond to technical queries from EPC contractor and others, as deemed necessary in respect to process.
Ensures safe, economic and technically sound decisions in all project phases•

Review requests for Design Deviations / Concession Requests proposed.
Review technical content of claims for changes in the EPC contract.•
Participate in HAZOP & safety reviews meetings•
Fully understand the company HSE policy, procedures, regulations and objectives as they relate to area of responsibility.
Ensures that work under control is performed in a safe and environmentally sound manner.
