PROCUREMENT CLERK

A leading FMCG company, based in Rosebank, is looking for a Procurement Clerk to join its dynamic team.

The ideal candidate is required to be methodical, numerate, well organised, pragmatic and driven to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Key requirements for this position is to have an ability to balance an aptitude for negotiation whilst maintaining the quality of the product being procured. Therefore, the successful candidate is required to have a strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

This person will be responsible for product forecasting and planning and managing the manufacturing process with suppliers.

Qualification, Experience and Skillset required:

? Minimum of a grade 12 qualification
? 1-2 years experience essential (relevant qualification in procurement will be an advantage)
? Ability to analyse supplier quotes to get the best value
? Good communication and negotiation skills
? Good excel skills
? Good organisational skills
? Ability to work independently
? Team player with good stress tolerance
? Ability to problem solve and overcome challenges
