Procurement Stores Manager, Zimbabwe - Ref: 1092880-7

Our client currently has an opportunity for a Procurement Stores Manager at their Open Cast Chrome mine based in a remote area of Zimbabwe. This position is suited to single expats and involves a rotation of 28 days on and 10 days off. Flights, housing and meals will be provided by the company.

The Procurement Stores Manager role is for an individual who is highly motivated and dedicated with a strong desire to learn new skills, be able to work independently as well as part of a team, enjoys new challenges and shows a lot of initiative.
The successful incumbent will have 10 years’ experience in a mining environment together with a qualification in Stores and/or Procurement.

Position details:
Managing existing contracts and negotiate new contracts.
Update, change and rewrite policies and procedure.
Drafting of tender documents, bid evaluation, conduct contract negotiations and implement contracts and service level agreements.
Manage operational as well as capital budgets and projects.
Implement management systems and subsequent reporting.
Direct responsible for all stores on site.

Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

Mining environment 10 years’ experience.
Work on systems SAP, Delta, etc.
Qualification in stores and or procurement.
