Job Description
SHEQ- Identify and assess levels of issue based risk exposures within the set area while considering all company aspects
Manage and implement SHEQ compliance making use of the Toolbox
Use the IMS to analyse and report back on the area’s SHEQ status
Conducting service providers recons, capturing and confirmation from the finance department for payments
Policies- Developing customers services policies
Managing adherence to the procurement procedures
Section Management_ Managing the labour stability by minimising the turnover
Managing the performances against the company targets and competencies
Ensure maintained discipline and coaching/counselling the staff to ensure improved performance
Appointment of new staff
Customer relations: Managing the relationship with key stakeholders & suppliers
Ensuring customer service and customer satisfaction by completing surveys and establishing a complaints system
Achieve agreed company and department targets
Monitor transport rates and communicate with suppliers to deal with logistics issues
Developing and managing the road’s transport marketing strategy
Evaluate logistical services while delivering balanced scorecards and objectives
Reviewing existing arrangements to meet with suppliers
Negotiate contract terms and conditions within mandates and Service Level Agreements
Maintain group contracts on behalf of the owner and handling contract queries
Updating contract information on SAP
Updating and maintaining data, compare and verify supplier price increases
Identify and drive savings initiatives
Analyse Logistics data and reports

Negotiation and compiling tender documents and contacts

Managing the procurement budget while assisting the manager in the preparation of budgets etc
Plan, manage and communicate the logistics and train services
Managing and monitoring the routing and scheduling function
Minimum Requirements
Relevant Engineering degree or National Diploma
Minimum 6 years’ experience which includes contracts commercially, contract negotiations, Sigma Green belt operations and logistic operation management
2 years management experience
