Product Accountant position available within a well-established organisation based in Cape Town. This position requires an individual who loves working with numbers and having a high level of accuracy. You will be required to process product accounting transactions to support the management with various products.



Qualification:

BCom Accounting Degree

3-5 years Commerce experience

Job Description:

Processing relevant accounting entries to the ledger for selected products.

Prepare financial reports and contribute to the commentary of reports.

Finance queries to be handled within the agreed time frames.

Manage high risk and problematic financial issues in area of accountability and contribute to the development of policy.

Assisting with internal and external audit.

Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and correction of imbalances found to ensure accuracy of the ledger and profit statements.

Complete Asset packs.

Support management of accounting structures for all product line/portfolios.

Account for IFRS reporting as required.
