This is a two month contract position. The purpose of this position is being responsible for timeous deployment of packed product from production to all distribution centres, to ensure sufficient stock to meet demand, while maintaining optimal stock levels at all distribution centres.

Key Performance Areas Include, but not limited to:

• Deployment of packed product to all distribution centres nationally on time and in full.
• Ensure sufficient stock at all DC to achieve targeted fill rate.
• Ensure optimal stock levels at all DC’s
• Liaising with production planning, transport and relevant DC’s to ensure on time delivery to DC’s
• Distribution of products according to depot letters.
• APO master data maintenance as required.
• Continuously monitor service levels and highlight non-adherence.

The successful candidate must have the following experience / skills:

• 2-3 years’ experience in a deployment environment would be preferable
• Strong administration and relationship building skills
• Attention to detail and analytical abilities are essential.
• Must be able to work under pressure.
• Computer skills in SAP, APO, BW and Windows Office will be an advantage
• Excellent communication and time management skills

Qualification required:
• A relevant tertiary qualification in logistics, or similar.
