This, coupled with loving the routine and administrative tasks of this job as well as the appropriate work experience, will make you a winner.The following are the requirements for the position:KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Updating and maintaining:Preferred supplier listsPreferred partner sheetsImage libraryPerfect moment sheetsPartner offers sheetsNightly, transport and activity rate sheetsSupport documentationCollating and sending of internal Product UpdatesQuoting, checking and amending packages and safari offersRate checking & filing as requiredTour Plan reporting on rate amendments and notification to consultantsAttending travel workshops and functionsHosting and setting up round robin presentationsResearch new product and exciting experiencesRequesting services for agent, staff and business travelProduct and destination support to consultants and sales teamSupport to Contracting Manager when traveling PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Three years’ experience gained in the product/reservations team of a tour operator.KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:Good knowledge of at least 4 of the destinations (one being South Africa) that the company promotes and a base knowledge of the others – South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Namibia, Mozambique, Tanzania, Kenya.
