Looking for a Junior Product Developer for Tour Company
Experience and knowledge:
Two years’ experience gained in the product/reservations team of a tour operator
Good destination knowledge of South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Namibia, Mozambique, Tanzania, Kenya
Understanding of rates and commission structures
A working knowledge of Tourplan
Computer literacy – MS Office is essential

Updating and maintaining:
• Preferred supplier lists
• Preferred partner sheets
• Image library
• Perfect moment sheets
• Partner offers sheets
• Nightly, transport and activity rate sheets
• Support documentation
Collating and sending of internal Product Updates
Quoting, checking and amending packages and safari offers
Rate checking & filing as required
Tour Plan reporting on rate amendments and notification to consultants
Attending travel workshops and functions
Hosting and setting up round robin presentations
Research new product and exciting experiences
Requesting services for agent, staff and business travel
Product and destination support to consultants and sales team
Support to Contracting Manager when traveling

Salary: R10 000 to R12 000 ctc
