The Development Manager provides management, leadership and vision to teams of softwaredevelopers, architects, QAs, Product Owners and Scrum Masters working across a variety of crossfunctionalAgile Product teams.Working within a dynamic Agile/Scrum environment, as the Development Manager, you will workclosely with the Heads of Development, Product, QA and Agile Delivery and be instrumental in thedesign, development and delivery of our products.It is vital for this role you have previously managed in a large delivery environment, have a deepunderstanding of Agile development methods and have led the delivery of software solutions.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities? Ensure that the software created is properly architected and developed in line with existing and future technologies? Drive continuous improvements in code quality, processes, architecture and organization within the development team? Drive innovative technical solutions in the areas of architecture, integration, tools, performance optimization, metrics and dashboards? Responsible for the overall enterprise architecture and design? Accountable for managing performance and talent development, including recruitment, retention and succession plans? Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead teams to execute the product vision and strategy? Design and implement rigorous software development processes and oversee the development, testing, release, and maintenance of all software products? Essential Criteria:? Significant software development management experience.? Extensive development experience – preferably in .Net / Microsoft technologies.? Expert understanding and knowledge of Test Driven Development methodologies.? Strong understanding of Agile Development Methodologies, especially Scrum.? Experience working in a medium / large scale agile product development team.? Deep understanding of technology.? Excellent verbal and written communication skills.? Graduate degree in Computer Science. -
