PRODUCT MANAGER ADULT NUTRITION- (ANI)

Area: ROODEPOORT
Salary: R 49 000 + plus benefits (to discuss) pm

Job Purpose:
To position, advertise and market company’s adult brands effectively by understanding the needs and wants of customers within the target market and the regulatory environment in order to achieve the sales and margin objectives of the organization.

Requirements:
• Tertiary qualification/degree in Life Sciences, Marketing
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in healthcare is required.
• Must have experience in Product Management, People Management and financial acumen

Duties (overview):
• Provide in-depth market, industry and competitive analysis
• Position The Company’s brands favorably and effectively communicate product differentiating factors to different customer segments
• Develop an in-depth marketing plan addressing both strategic and tactical implementation initiatives to achieve product objective in terms of sales and margin expectations.
• Guide sales team through campaign implementation and ensure that tactical execution at field level is as planned.
• Forecast product requirements per sector, identify potential supply issues and develop contingency plans
• Assist in the development, implementation and update of medical product training to sales force on an ongoing basis.
• Manage promotional budget to achieve maximum return on investment
• Develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in the field of medical nutrition to further establish The Company Nutrition as a pioneering leader in the field.
• Continuously seek opportunity to grow the market through new customers and new indications
• Evaluate portfolio extension opportunities
• Evaluate and propose pricing and packaging strategies where necessary
