Main purpose
To maximize product appeal to retail partners and consumers within the business profitability parameters through strategic and best practice thought leadership in product management.

Key Accountabilities
? New Customer Growth through the implementation of new products or the enhancement of existing products:
? Product development and enhancement
? Product optimization across all areas (decisioning, process, customer engagement)
? Product profitability (analytical insights to identify product P&L opportunities and development of appropriate and relevant initiatives to drive
growth and performance)
? Engagement and collaboration with all internal departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment and support of loan strategies and initiatives
? Identify new opportunities and develop relevant business cases to assess feasibility
? Accountable for effective implementation and execution of product development strategies
? Provide in-depth market and competitor analysis
? Engagement required with Finance, Sales, Operations and Risk departments to ensure robustness of business cases and product
development strategies
? Input and liaison with marketing team to ensure development of innovative marketing programs and communication strategies to deliver on
growth objectives
? Engage with Legal and Compliance to ensure that all products are compliant

Existing Customer Management:
? Manage, retain and grow the existing customer base (increase book growth) via development of appropriate existing customer management
strategies
? Revise and review product pricing strategies
? Assist Sales Team in the development of sales tools required to drive sales and turnover within the retail partner network
? Liaise with Risk to ensure that all products are managed in accordance with the company governance rules
? Input and liaison with marketing team to develop innovative marketing programs and communication strategies
? Engage with Legal and Compliance to ensure that all products are compliant
? Products are compliant to the minimum legislative parameters:
? Ensure that open channels of communication are maintained with Legal and Compliance Team;
? Take a holistic view of legislative requirements by weighing-up business risk vs. legal requirements

Manage the product P&L:
? Develop the turnover and new accounts targets for the business and ensure performance levels are achieved
? Ensure effective cost management and maintain expenses within the agreed budget range

Minimum Requirements

? Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Commerce.
? At least 5 years previous experience in Product Management role within Commercial Business unit
