Purpose:
The main focus and purpose of this position is to provide and communicate product education to Distributors
Create and maintain support relationships and lines of communication with Distributors and teams.
Assist the Department in handling Distributors product queries.
Responsible for updating, running and maintaining of the Company’s Resource Centre, assisting Distributors with Product Related Questions, Products and Sales Training.

Key Responsibilities:

? Assisting with the management of the Company’s product function
? Handling product queries from Distributors
? Conducting training on product knowledge for Distributors and internal staff
? Liaising with other departments in the Company e.g. Quality Assurance, Distributor Relations and other areas within Sales and of Marketing
? Attending meetings and seminars related to health / nutritional supplements and cosmetics industries.
? Updating product literature and other resource material for the department
? Keeping records and filing information.
? Use IT technology whenever possible in overall job activities.
? Set up databases of information relevant to job purpose.
? Compile reports on business information support activities.
? Handling Assignments and Special Projects as assigned by Vice President/s
? Responding to product-related queries from Distributor field - telephone, e. mail post or fax.
? Responding to Product Related Queries from Distributor Field via the telephone, e mail and or fax.
? Assisting Distributors in Resource Centre with requests for information.
? Sourcing relevant articles/ information for the Resource Centre
? Copying of information for the Resource Centre.
? Logging of Resource material onto Product Database.
? Managing of subscriptions for Resource Centre.
? Filing information for Product Department.
? Public Speaking relating to Product Benefits
? Training of the Company’s Distributors on company products ranges to support the Company‘s sales effort.
? Timeous completion of tasks.
? Timeous submission of reports.
? Successfully building positive relationships with Distributors and teams.
? Working as part of a team towards department goals.
? Managing job functions in a professional manner.
? Personal development on-the job.

Critical Success and Qualification Areas:

? Degree in Pharmacology/Pharmacy/Biochemistry
? Sales and Marketing experience will be an advantage
? PC, Internet and MS Office literate.
? Valid driver’s license
? Public Relations Qualification will be an advantage
? Excellent Communication and presentation skills are essential.
? Good Writing skills are essential.
? Computer literacy i.e. Power Point and Excel is essential.
? Strong organisational skills and ability to work on various projects simultaneously.
? Ability to work as part of a team.
? Responsibility for the effective running of the Company’s Resource Centre.
? Effective handling of Distributor product related queries.
? Admin/secretarial responsibilities.
? Attention to detail.
? Skilled in information compilation, storage, retrieval and archiving
? Basic knowledge of nutrition and Health Sciences a plus. Advertising and/Network Marketing experience helpful.
? Must have strong written and verbal communication skills in English
? Positive “can-do” attitude.
? Must demonstrate ability to follow accurately, interpret and implement ideas from others, offer creative initiative and work within time constraints.
