Our client, situated in Midrand, seeks a suitably qualified and experienced person to fulfill the role of a Product Manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Matric
• Commercial/relevant technical tertiary qualification
• Strong preference for a tertiary Chemical Engineering qualification
• Minimum of 2 years sales experience
• Knowledge and experience in water treatment and water treatment equipment
• Valid driver’s license

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of clients to achieve profitable growth
• Responsible for the execution of the sales strategy to allocated customers
• Create and drive action plans to increase value at allocated customers
• Achieve sales targets and forecasts
• Identify and drive new business opportunities in line with the Business strategy
• Implement customer retention strategies to develop and manage sustainable quality relationships with external customers
• Ensures compliance with all statutory and stewardship requirements
• Maintain and track opportunities at allocated customers and progress to realization
• Create and execute company strategy for client
• Retain and develop relationships with key customers and suppliers in the biocides area
• Assist and advise the Debtors Department in managing risk
• Be accountable for working capital and stock commitments
