Requirement for Product Owners/BAs
Work Location: Cape Town, South Africa
Mode of employment: 6 months and extendable contract.

Job Spec:

Competencies – What are the specific competencies required?

1. Strong eliciting capability and documentation capability
2. The ability to model analysis in a structured way using multiple techniques
3. Can demonstrate strong validation techniques
4. Financial/ Fintech industry skills & experience in working with SAFE Agile teams and framework will be a bonus

Outputs – What are the key performance areas and daily responsibilities?

1. Self starter, actively looking to drive progress in an incremental fashion from the get go
2. Owns & responsible for the priorities on the backlog
3. Confidence to work with senior stakeholders; vendors and/or 3rd party SMEs who may not be locally based
4. Confidence to work with lots of ambiguity and complexity
5. Budget conscious with constant ROI focus
6. Support the scrum teams on a day to day basis

Deliverables – What end result needs to be achieved?

We deliver a wide range of Digital products (which includes mobile-, web applications and APIs) as well as a number of replacement solutions for Valpre (which is the Barclays & ABSA split programme). This opportunity will span across Corporate, Investment, Client and Colleague based projects with the ultimate deliverable being to implement new solutions
