Qualified Product Specialist with minimum 4 years’ experience in Field Service/Product Support for Construction Excavators, required for product and technical support.
Construction machinery and electronic drive machine exp within the open cast mining /OEM environment essential.

Minimum requirements:
• Grade 12 essential
• Tertiary qualification/Trade Test essential
• Minimum 4 years’ experience as an Artisan / Field Service / Product Support Rep essential
• Minimum 4 years’ troubleshooting hydraulics / electrics / diesel mechanics required
• Construction machinery experience essential
• Open cast mining experience preferred
• Electronic drive machine experience required
• OEM experience relevant to Excavators advantageous

Responsibilities:
• Product/Technical support – assist dealers with technical queries with machines to resolve product issues
• Investigate field information reports to identify notifications of serious problems
• Determine cause of problems and submit Field Information Reports
• Receive and enforce service bulletin instructions
• Provide technical support to dealers and external clients
• Training – to delegates, compile up-to-date training material, conduct training to mechanics on technical report writing
• Warranty Claims – checking Field Information Reports to ensure timeous processing of warranty claims
• Conduct trend analysis on all warranty claims
• Act as second judge warranty claims
