• Trade Tested Electrician
• 5 years min experience gained with in a FOOD MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT
• Valid South African ID
• Available as soon as possible
• Stable track record with contactable references
• Min 3 years FMCG environment experience
• Valid SA ID Book
• LIVE IN CAPE TOWN
• ABLE TO WORK SHIFTS
Duties will include:
To repair and maintain plant and machinery in order to optimize Production
• Computer literacy, including exposure to computerised maintenance management systems
• Good interpersonal skills
• Team player
• Proactive and responsive to situations
• Prepared to work overtime and public holidays when necessary
• Call out and standby responsibilities
• Troubleshooting and problem solving ability
• Able to read electrical drawings
• Instrumentation experience required
• Exposure to PLC’s
• Willing to assist with mechanical tasks
• To reduce breakdowns and increase machine availability
• Provide technical support and training to machine operators
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections
• Follow the Preventative maintenance program
• Compilation and updating of equipment registers (safety gear)
• Maintain critical spares list
• Maximise performance on all equipment
• Complete job cards; log books and inspection reports
• Compile electrical drawings/schedules for plant
