RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure control over all transactions within production, versus production of the final product
Ensure control over usages that lead to the accumulation of cost
Ensure accuracy in the determination of cost - especially with regard to manufacturing
Ensure correct BOM controls to ensure that the right items per product type are loaded (this includes the Lost Control standards that must be adjusted annually to minimise influence market prices).
Prepare annual variable cost budgets of all costs based on budgeted volumes
Calculate and report market supply
Do contract administrations where Company uses contract manufacturing of products and where Company is contracted to manufacture for other companies
Determine and control the contract manufacturing costs and BOM
Manage and control the following actions: Purchasing (all purchasing of packaging material and other materials as well as the receiving thereof on the system), Write-offs and writing off of transactions, product movement, invoicing of final product, strike rate, scheduling
Report on stock movement and stock value - Implement and update controls to ensure that material and final product is transferred on the system
Determine the monthly transfer prices based on packaging material and other material price changes that influence market prices
Drive continuous improvement principals in Logistics and/or Supply Chain Partners for synergy in Production
Drive towards World Class Standards in Inbound Logistics
Assist with the management of certain improvement projects in Production Logistics environment

REQUIREMENTS:
B Comm degree (or relevant applicable Degree)
Minimum 12 years applicable experience in Logistic matters and technological knowledge
Good business acumen, analytical approach and detail orientation
Able to create and maintain high levels of relations with service providers/partners
Sound communication and interpersonal relations
Code 10 licence
Frequent and regular travel
