RedCat Recruitment is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced PROFESSIONAL CIVIL ENGINEER / TECHNOLOGIST (AA/EE) (PR ENG / PR TECH) (FIXED-TERM CONTRACT) for a well-established engineering concern, position will based in Empangeni.

REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12.
Valid driver’s license / own reliable vehicle.
Proficient in English and isiZulu.
Degree in Civil Engineering.
4 - 7 years’ relevant experience in the transport industry.
Professional registration with ECSA.
Professional manner in dealing with clients and community members.
Liaising with officials of the Department of Transport and attending meetings.
Mentoring Technicians towards professional registration, including monthly progress reporting in this regard.
Preparing project progress reports.
Being available to work after hours at short notice (within reason, and when required).
Reviewing of tender documents.
Conducting site assessments.
Visiting various area offices and construction sites.
Other adhoc duties.
