Professional Construction Engineer

A well-known South African based construction and design company that specialises bulk earthworks, pipelines, infrastructure and roads is seeking to employ a Professional Construction Engineer to be based in their Johannesburg offices on a fixed term contract basis with possibility of renewal.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Must be a holder of a Masters’ of Civil Engineering Degree or a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering Degree
Must be a holder of a Construction Management Degree or Diploma
Must have 12 – 15 years’ experience in Project construction and Engineering
Must be registered with The South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPMP) as a Professional Contracts Manager
Must be registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as a Professional Engineer
Must have practical knowledge of JBCC, GCC, FIDIC and NEC forms of contract as well as Buildsmart and CGS.
Must have experience with large infrastructure projects on site for extended periods of time
