Key Responsibilities
Measure
1.Providing a nursing service to clients
Attending to client’s needs, giving professional counselling, and dispensing of full range of contraceptives and antibiotics.
Maintain record keeping of all clients seen
Provide and promote all Company's services in line with Company's protocol/policies
Ensure that all TOP clients leave the centre with contraceptives or knowledge thereof
Ensure that the standards of all procedures are in line with the Company's policies and protocols
Manage and maintain the highest quality and uniform standards of clinical services to our clients.
Telephonic counselling when required.
Ensure client confidentiality at all times.
Complete and Updated client records

2. Clinical Quality
Measure
Efficient management of all clinical complications
Assisting providers in reporting of all clinical incidents
centre administration and appearance – according to Company's standards
red flag high risk issues related to clinical quality – report to Governance
Ensure all providers are using standard Company's QTA checklist for internal audit process and assist accordingly
Ensure all new policies and documents sent to the centres have been adopted at centres and filed accordingly
All centres have the necessary files and documentation is required by Governance
Ensure supplies and equipment procurement and stock control – standardized system across all centres
Ensure client feedback surveys are being collected (at least 50% of client attendance for the month)
Ensure all client records are fully completed with all the requirements checked off and include consent forms and for Company's clients – discharge checklist
Monitor that all required competency assessment checklists are at centres and fully completed (CSS, Bimanual examination, MEM, IUD insertion, Site visit checklists)
Cross reference FP card records with FP register
Timely incident reporting to RM as per MDT protocol
Incident report to Head of Clinical Governance
Risks reports
Completed QTA checklists
New documents and policies acknowledged and filed accordingly
Required files at centres
Equipment list up to date
50% client feedback reported monthly
Completed client surveys at least 50%
Competency assessment checklists field accordingly
FP cards match FP register
3. People and development
Measure
In the absence of the CM assume the role of acting CM role
Promote team work amongst team members
Relieving other centre staff when and where necessary to ensure the smooth running of the centre
Promoting the Company formally by attending external functions (e.g. health talks, etc.)
Wear distinguishing device at all time

4. Centre Sustainability
Measure
Participate in discussions on centre performance
Use of consumer insight information for demand generation – guide marketing activities
Participate in discussions on Centre MRP and provide input on action plans to ensure centre profitability

5. Clinical Supportive Supervision
Measure
On request of Director Clinical Governance; conduct clinical supportive supervision (CSS) activity as directed.
Successful completion of training & confirmation of competence.

Qualifications:
Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery
Trained in terminations of pregnancy

Minimum experience
Experience in SRH including TOP service provision
5+ years’ experience as a Midwife
5+ years Family planning
Experience in training of service providers and assessment of clinical quality
Sound understanding of the sexual and reproductive health sector
Focused on targets, service and clinical quality
