Main purpose of the jobThe incumbent will be responsible for a profitable and professional cleaning and health care services in a geographic area and to ensure client satisfaction/business retention whilst upholding the company policies and procedures. Education and experience required:
· Minimum Registered Professional Nurse and post graduate qualification would be an added advantage · Minimum five (5) years Management experience in Nursing or Health Care Environment is essential · Exposure to selling of a service advantageous · Exposure to Industrial Relations on a shop floor level advantageous
Knowledge Skills and Competencies required:
· Good numeric and administrative skills · Good planning, leading and organisational skills · Good interpersonal skills · Well groomed · Self starter, go getter and suitable initiative · Good people management skills· Computer literate (MS Office)· Valid Driver’s license · Ability to work flexible working hours
Key areas of responsibilities:
· Promptly attend to daily messages and complaints. · To ensure constant customer satisfaction and good client contact· To regularly visit and inspect that the standard of work of employees at contracts is of the highest standard as per the contract specification· To ensure head counts are carried out at each contract. · To be responsible for the making up of stores orders ensuring that each order reflects the total cost compared to contract budget. · To ensure that the top copies of communication books are submitted to the Regional Manager. · To be responsible for maintaining discipline by using the Company’s disciplinary code and procedures, as well as attending to grievances· To carry out regular inspections· To attend to certain regular meetings with clients· To maintain a high profile with all major clients· To be responsible for the on-going training and development needs to all staff under the Area Manager’s control. · To ensure that attendance registers/time-sheets are submitted monthly to the Regional Managers for authorization and submitted to the wage or payroll department on a set deadline. · To attend monthly Area Manager’s meetings with the Regional Managers to discuss monthly wage queries, leave, costing, etc.., as and when required · To promote the Company’s full range of non-recurring business (specials) · To investigate debtor’s queries with clients and collect cheques from clients when instructed to do so by Regional managers or the Debtor’s Department
