Synopsis: Our client is a leading provider of secure transaction channels between business and individuals.



Job Description:
• To develop and enhance software by coding in C programming language, testing, debugging and documenting programs and/program modules
• Assist with the investigation of problems and finding solutions to these problems experienced on existing software
• Provide technical support to internal and external clients as and when required
• Understand project / product requirements from technical perspective
• Follow the software development plan
• Use design specifications to produce detailed design (implementation design) according to best software design practices (e.g. objects, modularity etc.)
• Assist with coding, testing, debugging and documenting small programs or program modules
• Programming in a Point of Sale terminal environment
• Provide ongoing support to new and existing Point of Sale Software
• Take responsibility for obtaining the goals required throughout the development process
• Investigate multiple solutions to a problem
• Ensure that all projects and tasks assigned will be completed as specified and within the pre-determined time frames
• Integrity of source code produced
• Adherence to technical specification
• Providing a professional service to internal and external clients


Qualifications:
• Degree in BEng Electrical / BSc Computer Science Degree

Experience:
• 1-2 years’ experience
• Excellent knowledge in C programming language
• Experience in the FinTech industry will be an advantage
• Experience in embedded development will be an advantage
