We are urgently recruiting for a Project Coordinator for our client in Durban North.

Requirements:
A diploma or higher in retail sales, business and or accounting

2 or more years ‘experience working with community based capacity building programmes within the NGO and or development sector

A working understanding of education and training provision and development project design and delivery

A valid code 8 drivers licence


Duties:

Shop Retail

Stock control

Shop management

Costing of items

Pricing of items

Suppliers – draw up data base

Packaging of items

Labelling of items

Contracts with suppliers

Displays in shop and at functions

Invoicing of customers

Over the counter sales

Quality control of all items

Procurement of stock

Processing orders -

Storage of stock

Debtors / Creditors control

Customer care / customer service

Sourcing of new materials / equipment / stock

Internal controls and systems

Health and safety within the shop area

Shop Financial Control

Float control and accountability

Banking of shop monies

Financial shop management

Financial shop reports each month

Accounts (debtors / creditors) to be processed

Financial profit / loss analysis

Pricing / escalations

Costing of all items
