Reputable international firm of Consulting Engineers requires a Project Engineer for the upgrading of the border post on the Gauteng side.

The successful candidate will have a BSc Eng (Civil), PrEng and extensive experience both technical and in a project managerial role, for the upgrading of the border post on the Zimbabwean side. Areas for upgrade include: 220 houses, the main access road, the vehicle inspection depot, admin buildings, a CCTV system, landscaping, a Tolling system and street lighting.

You will be responsible for monitoring the design and construct contract in accordance with the requirements agreed upon between the contractor and the client. You will review technical submissions, evaluate and approve financial submissions, evaluate and review quality and progress, and rule on contractual issues. Must be able to compile high-level reports, control all site office accounting activities and maintain good relationships with various stakeholders.
