SUMMARY

My client is the world´s largest producer of certified sustainable palm oil, playing a leading role in the development and promotion of sustainable practices in the palm oil sector. Being a founding member of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), SDP seeks to advance the production, procurement, and use of sustainable oil palm products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Project Engineer is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects within the specified deadlines and budget.
This role involves coordinating various engineering disciplines, managing resources, and ensuring that all project objectives are met.
The Project Engineer serves as the liaison between the project team, clients, and other stakeholders.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or similar
Recognized Project Management Qualification in line with PMBOK Methodology.
3-5 years relevant experience in a related role within a processing or manufacturing environment managing and executing capital projects.
Knowledge of EHEDG will be advantageous.
Demonstrate an understanding of HACCP principles of Food Safety & Quality Control
Demonstrate an understanding of GMP
People Management skills are a critical requirement for managing projects. The incumbent must have effective people management skills.
Contract Management
Financial Acumen in budgeting, Project investment analysis and reporting.
