PROJECT MANAGER / ENGINEER
Minimum requirements:
? A relevant three year degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ Industrial Engineering or equivalent
? 5 - 10 years project management and design engineering experience with proven record of delivery (Manager)
? 3 – 5 years relevant experience (Engineer)
? Experience in the automotive industry would be advantageous
Duties:

? Responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the planning and execution of a project or group of projects
? Senior Project Manager may have junior project managers & engineers handling specific smaller projects or aspects of larger projects
? Act as the primary interface to the customer for all matters related to the project(s)
? Accurately document the initial customer requirements and monitor changes throughout the project life-cycle
? Support all customer documentation requirements
? Work with Ebor colleagues and business partners to develop and implement robust project solutions
? Develop and maintain the project timing plans
? Ensure all activities needed to deliver the project are expedited efficiently, whether personally or in conjunction with other Ebor staff and business partners
? Resolve project level issues in a timely manner to protect the integrity of the project plan
? Develop and monitor the project budget
? Identify over-runs and develop recovery actions
? Regularly report project status to senior management
? Create all necessary design and operational documentation
? Monitor post-launch performance and implement corrective actions to address any shortfalls against requirements
? Lead continuous improvement activities
? Support the ongoing business development activities of the company
? Identify new business opportunities
? Provide relevant input at prospective client meetings, assist in project cost and schedule estimating, etc.
• Mentor and develop junior team members and be able to delegate responsibilities
• Demonstrable experience with project planning and writing product specifications
• Experience with sourcing, selection and application of capital equipment within a production/manufacturing environment
• Experience creating design & operational documentation
• Hands-on experience of developing, implementing and troubleshooting mechanical systems
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
