Our client is URGENTLY in search of a PROJECT MANAGER with sound experience in the Financial Services Sector. The ideal candidate Must be willing to travel within the group namely Pretoria, Gauteng.

CORE OBJECTIVE
To provide project management, according to accepted policies and standards, in support of business and product strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the overall planning, management and completion of Projects and/ or Programs on a wide variety of business units, Programs and Portfolios
• Adhere to the PMO governance
• Works with customers to develop project scope of work documents/ project management plans and project schedules.
• Uses project management skills to manage project resources, identify resource requirements, meet training needs,
• Define project deliverables, provide customer satisfaction and reporting structures and ensure quality of projects.
• Identifies the approach to be used on a given project.
• Manages the project and development lifecycles.
• Ensures effective communications and relationships between customers and project team members are maintained.
• Provide input into the PMO reporting, including updating the Project Management application
• Overall control, management and reporting on Project Status, Costs, Issues and Risks
• Implementation and control of change management process
• Duties may require 24 hour, seven days per week on-call responsibility for project support.
• Be seen as an enabler driving project success
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• A related Degree or qualification in project management would be advantageous.
• Professional certification PMP or Agile.
• Understanding of business and product solutions/strategies would be advantageous.
• IT Project Management experience
• Application Implementation experience
