Our client in the La Mercy area is recruiting for a Project Manager: Marketing, to manage all marketing projects to ensure that projects are executed within cost, time and quality. As well as all marketing financial management and budget control
Create a detailed work plan, which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete each project.
Determine and schedule the required resources (time, budget, team members, etc.)
Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion.
Briefing service providers on approved projects. Monitor all the deadlines, project spend and approvals between the service providers and Marketing division
Provide documented research for budget to ensure ROI for the department’s projects
Maintaining proper record and control of all briefs, mock-ups and final deliverables for all marketing projects
Ensuring that the projects are completed timeously and meet the requirements of all contracts and briefed projects, verifying invoices against deliverables
Responsible for drafting and presenting the weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
Manage the division’s weekly status and project progress reports on all marketing projects
Collate weekly progress reports from relevant service providers; interpret and consolidate reports to conform to the company standards of reporting
Communicate to all parties on all project updates related to the projects
Manages division’s projects when necessary

Manage and provide an on-going analysis and reconciliation of project and division expenditure
Manage the compilation of documentation for Procurement, obtaining all required authorisations

Monitor proper control of all procurement and contractual documentation
Maintaining proper control of the administration of all Marketing’s financial documentation: contract financial management tools, cost estimates, purchase orders and invoices
Manages the administration and billing for the Marketing Division’s revenue (e.g. Electronic Billboard sales)
Responsible for submissions of the marketing division’s monthly invoicing schedules
Communicate with Finance on invoicing and collection of payment
Organising and maintaining project files, documents, correspondences and related communications
M+3 or equivalent qualification or Project Management;

3-5 years’ experience in Procurement and/or Marketing;

Preference will be given to a person with PFMA experience;

Must come with sales experience

Experience in document management and document control; and

MS Excel specifically and general MS Office skills, MS Projects would be advantageous.
