Fetola is recruiting an experienced Sustainability Manager to join our team. The project manager will design and implement a range of projects for green/sustainability businesses and assist in continual improvement of Fetola’s sustainability positioning in the market.
The proven ability to forward plan, to manage resources efficiently and to produce results is essential, as is the willingness to use agile methods and work closely with a diverse team. Open, engaging and ongoing communication is a requirement of the job as is the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Experience and Training:
• University degree or higher with combined qualifications in Business Management / Business Science and Environmental and Geographical Science / Sustainability Studies.
• 8-10 years’ prior work experience in Project management or similar field
• Proven experience in business development
• Excellent spoken and written English with public presentation skills
• Innovative, agile thinking and strong leadership capabilities
• A good understanding of the policy frameworks and relevant institutions & organisations involved in promoting the green economy
• Advanced computer skills including MS Office Suite
• Stakeholder Management
• Excellent industry networks including access to Market

Key Tasks:
Duties include but not limited to:
• Lead: Project manage/ implement small business growth programmes in the green /sustainability sector
• Lead: Design and implementation of technical /sustainability components of projects
• Lead: Access to Market for green /sustainability sector SMEs
• Lead: People management and skills-development within own project teams
• Lead: Sustainability education and skills-transfer within Fetola
• Lead: Client-liaison, reporting and information sharing
• Support: Design and develop new SME-focused projects
• Support: New client relationships and funding proposal writing
