Project Manager

Contract: 12 months. Rate/hr R378. Must have: Telecoms experience. Exp: 8 months (subject to extension). Start: Imm

§ Responsible for drawing up of project plan which covered the following:

§ Project Schedule
§ Scope management
§ Budget plan
§ HR plan
§ Communication plan
§ Risk and issue management
§ Stakeholder management
§ Management of all deliverables and teams
§ Implemented the change management plan which focused on extensive communication to email users on rollout plan, impact to email availability and support.
§ Worked closely with IT helpdesk to focus some of its resources to the project.
§ Met regularly with GM: Operations to manage issues and escalations and to provide ad hoc progress reports
§ Provided weekly written reports on progress, risks and issues to senior management,
§ Managed internal human resources that were required to assist vendor in implementing the project
§ Provided weekly reports to project sponsor
Managed invoice payment according to a payment schedule
§ Developed business cases for document management and Incident management systems
§ Worked on the departments Land Claim Management system to investigate reasons users were not using it
§ PM for the Land Claim Management system enhancements
§ Participated in workshops to determine DRDLR requirements as an enterprise
Should be good in project management. Good interpersonal skills
