Responsibility of the position:

Overall responsibility for the successful completion, within budget, on schedule and compliance to the required standard. For the Phase 1 Replacement Project which includes, 2 Stacker Reclaimers, 2 Shiploaders and the Sub-station reconfiguration.
The Project has an estimated value of R1.4bn and a 3 year duration.

Qualifications and Experience:

Engineering Degree
Project Management qualifications (would be an advantage)
10 years project management experience.
Project management experience within a heavy industry and highly mechanized environment.
Financial accounting/management experience.
Experience with Stacker Reclaimers and Shiploaders.
Management a portfolio of projects.
Knowledge of PMBOK.
Project risk management.

Management of multiple projects running concurrently (over one billion rands).
Good knowledge of the project management methods and tools, knowledge of management principles and practice.
