Introduction

Our client, Leaders in Infrastructure Development, seek to employ a Senior Project Planner based in Secunda.

Minimum Requirements

MUST HAVE at least 8 years experience as a Project Planner
MUST HAVE experience planning Electrical AND Instrumentation projects
Must have excellent knowledge of Primavera P6
Must have planning experience working on either Power Stations, Plants, Factories or Boiler Projects

Job Specification

To develop, maintain and update construction schedules for large Electrical and Instrumentation projects

Preparation of monthly reports to client

S-Curves

Critical path analysis; supply charts and schedules containing the manpower and progress (planned v.s. actual)

Issue a schedule of future planned operations (look ahead weekly, bi-weekly and three week)

Detailed interpretation of plan for presentation to client

Incorporate variations of works into program, advise Site Management and client of effect

Record and inforporate restraints into program, advise Site Management and client of effect on a daily basis

Liaison with client planning representative

Good communication skills

Team player
