Our client is a leading innovator of services and technologies, offering this to various academia, corporations, libraries, healthcare facilities etc and customises content for user’s needs. Responsible for:
Manage existing licensing partnerships with publishers in your territory.
Identify new publishers to pursue partnerships (full text licensing, discovery indexing, eBook distribution, Flipster, magazine subscription sales)
Obtain new licensing & distribution agreements with publishers in your territory.
Facilitate efficient transfer of publisher data
Represent company at industry events.
Contact publishers of target publications and negotiate licenses.
Update and renew agreements with currently licensed publishers.
Coordinate with Company’s Publisher Content Management group to obtain licensed data from publishers in your territory.
Coordinate with Company’s Publisher Satisfaction, Royalties, and other groups to resolve publisher questions or complaints.
Coordinate with Sales to accompany them on sales visits (or to arrange separate visits) in order to poll customers about what content they wish to see included
Obtain publisher data samples and send it to Company’s Content Research, eBook and various groups in prescribed formats so that new publishers/publications may be targeted.
Focus on priority initiatives and priority publishers as directed.
Participate in meetings and trainings as directed.
Develop knowledge of Company’s products, and the relationships of various divisions.
Use automated systems including Magtitle, Subscript, and Access databases to record and retrieve publisher information.
Additional projects & initiatives as directed by supervisor.

You will need to have the following:

Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Ability to identify own needs and ask for instruction.
Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Access and internet effectively.
Publishing/information industry experience preferred. Sales or marketing experience preferred.
Some travel will be required, including occasional international travel.
