Purpose of Position: Develop, establish and maintain supplier relationships to support purchasing objectives.

Managerial and Coordination Requirements:
• Establish mutually rewarding relationships with suppliers and ensure best quality and price for company
• Analyse purchasing requirements and develop local purchasing strategy to ensure speedy, accurate, best price purchases
• Develop and implement local purchasing policies, procedures and ensure compliance to the same
• Supplier evaluation and re-evaluation
• Responsible for e-commerce scanning system
• Assist Operations Manager with inventory control
• Ensure conformance to procedures within the Purchase team

Knowledge and Experience
• Bachelor degree or similar
• Preferred qualification – professional
purchasing
• At least 2-3 years progressively responsible
experience
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills
• Good understanding of Budgets, local
regulations relevant to business
• Knowledge of English (CEFR – Level B2) and Afrikaans
