Leading explosives manufacturer is looking for a QA Officer to assist R&D and QA Manager in all aspects of QA Services. Will play a leading support role in continuous improvement initiatives in the manufacturing department

Qualifications:

Matric with Science and Math’s

Degree in Industrial engineering or degree in (math’s/statistics/chemistry / mechanical)

Cert as a Quality Auditor / QA Engineer / QA Improvement associate

Six Sigma adv

Comp lit with advanced Excel skills / QA systems and QA Tools

Comp lit on MS Office and Data Bases

Comp lit

Experience:

Min 3-5 yrs exp as a QA officer in manufacturing environment

Proficient in Six Sigma concepts and improving on efficiency and QA on all plants

Interpret and implement QA procedures on various plants

Recording, analysis and distribution of statistical information to identify areas of improvement in plants and QA systems

Write management and technical reports

Monitor performance of products and processes of various plants

Monitor corrective and preventative actions

Devise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting of QA data

Plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of raw materials and products to ensure finished product QA

Ensure manufacturing QA control process comply with internal Standards

Document internal QA audits and other QA activities
