My client seeks to employ a QA Pharmacist for their growing pharmaceutical company.

• This position is 60% factory bound and 40% administration on compliance matters unless otherwise specified by manager.
• From time to time, the job-holder may have to visit the external warehouse to sort queries regarding stock management, e.g. disposition on damaged stock.

• B Pharm degree or Diploma and registration as a pharmacist with the pharmacy council
• 1 to 3 years QA and/or production experience

• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Primarily a detailed but broad knowledge of all aspects relating to the quality assurance of pharmaceutical products.
• The job holder is expected to understand and act on implications which may not be apparent to those without the QA expertise.
• Must be up to date at all times regarding knowledge of GMP & regulatory requirements – MCC guidelines on current good manufacturing practice.
• Sound knowledge of packaging analysis / evaluation and in-process requirements / controls within all aspects of the Akacia HealthCare business.
• Process control and principles/statistical evaluation/process validation
