We are looking for a QA Tester / Software Tester for a National Company in Port Elizabeth.

Purpose of Position:
To assess software quality through manual and automated testing and responsible for finding and reporting bugs to ensure that the Company’s products, applications and systems work correctly and efficiently

Requirements:
Matric (Grade 12 or equivalent)
Tertiary qualification in Software Development or studying towards will be advantageous
Minimum of 2 years experience in QA testing and testing methodologies
Functional Competencies
QA Methodology
Agile frameworks
Able to document and troubleshoot errors
Excellent communication skills in English
Understanding Afrikaans will be advantageous
Analytical mind & problem solving aptitude
Able to prioritise (time management)
Able to multi-task & prioritise
Creating/working with automated testing frameworks


Duties:
Review and analyse system specifications with a view of creating test cases
Work with cross functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development cycle
Create test plans for organised and structured testing
Evaluate product functionality according to specifications
Execute test cases (manual or automated)
Conduct post release / post implementation testing
Report bugs and errors to development teams
Help troubleshoot issues
Preparation of test reports
Create logs to document testing phases and defects etc.
