Qualified Nurse required for established medical aid clinic in Randfontein:

To deliver Primary Health Care to all patients within scope of practice
Delivery of customer care services on benefits, authorizations and chronic medication
To assist the doctors in surgeries and with procedures, and to assist in the reception area as and when needed

Description:

To establish valued relationships with members and patients
To ensure that all administration tasks are performed effectively and timeously
To ensure excellent quality of PHC, Wellness, Counseling and educational services to all patients
To deliver and assist the doctors wound treatment and procedures
To advise members on benefits and assist with authorization and chronic medication

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12

Registered Professional Nurse with PHC (SANC)

Min 3 years relevant experience

Medical Scheme related knowledge, HIV/Aids, PHC and general administration

Bilingual: Afrikaans and English


Skills/ Knowledge:

· Technical knowledge

· General knowledge of customer service, and medical reception responsibilities and specialized nursing functions as per registration

· Good knowledge of products (consumables) and schemes (benefits, rules)

· Good knowledge of medical terminology

· Good knowledge of ICD10, CPT codes and claims processing

· Basic knowledge of the chronic medication process
