Our client is seeking an experienced and qualified Quality Engineer with Formal Engineering or Technical Qualification (NQF Level 5),Quality qualification such as City and Guilds (papers 1&2) would be an advantage, 5 years Quality experience including core knowledge and skills. The ideal candidate must have good working knowledge on Control plans, FMEA, PFMEA, ISO:TS 16949, statistical techniques for quality, Project management, process and product knowledge.
You will be responsible for continuous improvement for the designated area, support training to execute quality systems and BOS implementation, Ensure that appropriate statistical methods are utilised throughout the product and process development cycle and deployed into the control plan, Co-ordinates the preparation and delivery of PPAP packages , Implementation, evaluation and maintenance of quality systems to customer requirements ,Request and receive ECR’s and deviations, Eliminate unco-ordinated changes and ensure early detection of possible plant concerns relating to ECR’s and deviations, Manage a team of Quality Technicians and Inspectors and meet profit plan objectives.
