The successful candidate will take up the role of a Quality Engineer (QA Purchase Parts) to ensure that supplied purchase parts conform to required delivery standards.

Job Description and Responsibilities
Establishing root causes and implement corrective actions for allocated problems
Leading cross functional teams when required
Series monitoring of allocated parts and functions
Lead a part stability program for local and CKD suppliers
Presentation of findings / reports at various forums
Interfacing with various departments within the company
Liaising with overseas counterparts with regards to build/quality matters
Monitoring projects (model year, face lift, new model) to ensure adherence to milestones and part approval
Travel at short notice to Suppliers
Creation of prototype test aids, jigs and fixtures (e.g. 3D printing)

ESSENTIAL:
Have a minimum National Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical)/ or Qualified Artisan (Tool maker: Press / Jigs and fixtures) with a Technical National N Diploma
Have 3 – 5 years’ experience within the manufacturing industry
