Duties
Assisting with production planning and meeting planned targets
Auditing, Supervision and participating in production activities
Handle discipline and labour issues and maintain discipline at all times
Ensure personnel comply with company policies and meet production target ensuring quality and food safety
Ensure factory hygiene and good sanitation practices are maintained
Assist with incident management to minimize downtime and avoid loss of product/packaging through quality and food safety non–conformances
Monitoring maintenance workers and ensure they adhere to company policy and procedures
Coordinating on the job the training for QC functions
Provide accurate and detailed records of the training material, attendance details, post training evaluation for competence, re training and refresher training
Ensuring occupational health and safety rules are being adhered to
Assisting where needed with preparation of samples or pilot trials including the provision of accurate feedback details.
Requirements:
• Minimum Matric with Tertiary Quality/Food safety qualification
• At least 3 years experience within a similar role
• Must reside within the PE/Uitenhage area
