Quality Technician | Automotive | Port Elizabeth
Salary: R10-20K Per Month

Complement Recruitment are recruiting for a Quality Technician from within the Automotive Production Assembly Line & Manufacturing industry. Candidates must have their own reliable transport. The position is based in Port Elizabeth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Implement or update Quality Procedures and Standard Operation Procedures (S.O.P);
• Maintain the Quality Assurance system;
• Ensure compliance of Quality Policies, Procedures and Work Instructions;
• Conduct internal Process audits and Vehicle & Layout audits Quality Control;
• Investigate all Quality non-conformances and track corrective actions;
• Compile Parts per Million (PPM's) and defect trends and make recommendations;
• Conduct random Paint thickness assessments on all Chassis;
• Verify First-Off from Assembly Line, Last-Off and Random inspections;
• Determine the disposition of quarantined products (Pass, Reject or Rework);
• Information Management and Direct Focus;
• Collect and analyse company data and management reports;
• Identify opportunities for improvements;
• Attend to customer queries and ensure Quick response and resolve accordingly;
• Maintain a high level customer satisfaction with regards to quality concerns that may arise.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Grade 12 with Maths, Science and technical drawing;
• Must be Computer Literate;
• Diploma/Degree in Quality Assurance;
• Minimum 3 Years’ working experience as a Quality Technician/Controller in a Quality Department with an ISO 9000:2015 environment;
• Must have experience in writing procedures and compiling Daily/monthly reports;
• Must have experience in using root cause analyses tools – Understanding 8D principle;
• Working on SAP, EPL, EMA or SYSPRO;
• Code 10/14 would be advantageous;
• Process or vehicle Auditing skills;
