Job Description:
A Process Engineer/Scientist is required to develop and evaluate new technologies for the commercialization of novel and innovative products as well as the support of current production processes and be involved in the development and implementation of production improvement projects.

Qualifications:
Applicants must be in possession of a postgraduate BSc degree in Chemistry (or related field) or Chemical Engineering. Preferably M.Sc or M.Eng.
Candidates with post graduate or research experience will receive preference.

Duties:
• Develop and evaluate new technologies for the commercialization of novel and innovative products.
• Maintain awareness of competitive products and applications, technical developments in related fields of engineering/science and market trends as they relate to the business environment.
• Formulation and application testing of new products.
• Support of production targets and be involved in the development and implementation of production improvement projects.
• Collaborate with R&D team members, production and commercial teams regarding product formulation, process parameters, scale-up, and trial support.
• Designs & conducts chemical experiments on both lab and pilot-scale utilizing new and established methods. Projects may involve basic research and/or product development.
• Compilation of research results in a scientific report format
