Applicants must be from the Howick / Pietermaritzburg area.
This is a half day position.

Responsibilities:
? Recruitment of learners
o Continuous sourcing and recruiting of learners.
o Maintaining a waiting list aligned to EAP targets and capacity of the academy at all times.
o Recruit, screen and shortlist learners according to client and academy specific needs and requirements.
o Ensure that learner files handed over are complete and that this is done timeously and according to deadlines.
o Ensure processes and procedures are adhered to.
o Continuously source and utilize various recruitment platforms.
o Continuously register and maintain a database of suitable candidates.
o Source, screen and shortlist candidates according to client specific needs and requirements.
o Schedule and coordinate interviews per client
o Ensure necessary checks per the SLA is completed e.g., credit, education, criminal, Media Works or other assessments and ID verification
o Ensure candidate profiles are compiled for highly marketable candidates and submitted for marketing monthly
o Confirm start date with all necessary stakeholders and that all necessary activities for start day are well planned and organized.
o Ensure all necessary documentation is prepared and that candidate files handed over are complete and that this is done timeously and according to deadlines
o Ensure continuous support of candidates placed at client’s site and ensure well-being on an on-going basis.
o Conduct exit interviews with learners

? Assessment of Learners

o Plan and schedule assessments and ensure all necessary arrangements have been made.
o Confirm dates with necessary stakeholders.
o Ensure assessments are scored and captured accurately and timeously.
o Review learner assessment results and regret successful and unsuccessful learners.

? Database/ Reporting

o Ensure database is updated and maintained correctly.
o Ensure that the information captured is accurate.
o Pull and review weekly reports from database and send weekly reports to the Academy Manager.
o Update recruitment status sheet weekly.

? Marketing and Advertising

o Continuously develop and interact with sources of potential learners through breakfast info sessions and visiting schools
o Roll out advertising campaigns as instructed by the Academy Manager.
o Distribute marketing material to relevant stakeholders.
o Continuously source and utilize effective media platforms.

? Stakeholder Management

o Ongoing client (school/organization) relationship management.
o Build and maintain relationships with new special schools, disability organisations and clinics etc. in region.
o Provide special schools and disability organizations with feedback on learners by means of quarterly reports.
o Maintain and develop all stakeholder relationships.

Requirements:
? A relevant NQF 5 qualification or equivalent thereof
? Own vehicle and driver’s license
? Previous recruitment experience is essential
